Families Forward Program
The Families Forward Program consists of twelve transitional housing units. Four are two-bedroom and eight are three-bedroom apartments.
and for families from our own programs that have been identified as having significant challenges to finding safe, affordable housing.
This program is for families who are victims of domestic violence. These units are filled by a referral process and they are not open to the public. They are utilized by referrals from area domestic violence shelters. Families regain their independence through case management and supportive services. Families Forward provides housing & utilities at a modest cost to them of 30% of their income so they can heal physically, mentally and financially, while investing in their own success.
All families’ ultimate goal is to identify sustainable permanent housing and be working diligently toward that goal.
