Interim Housing Program
Family Promise has the use of three apartments in an historic house downtown which are used for families that have been compliant with the program and are working full-time.
Program fees apply and are based on the family’s income (twenty five percent of gross income) and there is a cap for each apartment. This allows the family to continue to save toward permanent housing and security deposits.
The term of the Participation Agreement is three months. Family Promise can extend to as long as six months if additional time is needed, but it cannot be extended further.
Family Promise collaborates with other local agencies on a referral basis. Families are not taken directly into this program.
